The database contains over 15 million citations dating back to the mid-1950&#039;s. Coverage is worldwide, but most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts. Journal articles are indexed for &lt;em&gt;MEDLINE&lt;\/em&gt; using NLM&#039;s subject heading system, MeSH (Medical Subject Headings).\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ham.miamioh.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/info-e1433982826316.jpg\" alt=\"info\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a style=\"color: #2248d3;\" href=\"https:\/\/libguides.lib.miamioh.edu\/cinahl-plus-with-full-text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CINAHL Plus<\/a> <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"The world\u2019s most comprehensive source of full text for nursing and allied health journals, providing full text for more than 560 journals and includes more than 600,000 full-text articles dating back to 1937.\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ham.miamioh.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/info-e1433982826316.jpg\" alt=\"info\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a style=\"color: #2248d3;\" href=\"https:\/\/libguides.lib.miamioh.edu\/communication-mass-media-complete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Communication &amp; Mass Media Complete<\/a> <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"&lt;em&gt;Communication &amp;amp; Mass Media Complete&lt;\/em&gt; offers cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for over 300 journals in areas related to communication and mass media, and selected coverage of over 100 more, for a combined coverage of over 400 titles. Furthermore, this database includes full text for nearly 200 journals. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts, PDFs, and searchable citations from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as 1915).\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ham.miamioh.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/info-e1433982826316.jpg\" alt=\"info\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a style=\"color: #2248d3;\" href=\"https:\/\/libguides.lib.miamioh.edu\/comabstracts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ComAbstracts<\/a> <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"&lt;em&gt;ComAbstracts&lt;\/em&gt; abstracts articles published in 40 primary journals of the communication field. Coverage varies for each journal, but usually begins in the late 1980s. The citation or abstract may be searched by keyword or phrase. You can also browse a list of keywords. &lt;em&gt;ComAnalytics&lt;\/em&gt; provides data about the relative publication performance of individual scholars and of departments of communication (journalism, mass communication, speech, communication studies, media studies, rhetoric, etc.). &lt;em&gt;ComUpdate&lt;\/em&gt; allows you to select classification terms and a date range in order to stay current on recently added materials.
