For example, search for \u201cadolescent behavior\u201d, not \u201chow adolescents behave when they are alone\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spelling:<\/strong> Double-check your spelling and see if there are alternate ways to spell your search term(s).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Synonyms:<\/strong> Brainstorm words with similar meanings and try searching for them. For example, if you are looking for information on adolescents, you may also want to try <em>juvenile<\/em>, <em>teen<\/em>, <em>teenager<\/em>, <em>minor<\/em>, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Limit:<\/strong> Use the catalog\u2019s \u201cLimiters,\u201d located on the left side of your search results page, to narrow your search even further by Author, General Topic, Format, Genre, Campus, Person, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/R21VA9W41cw\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<a class=\"site\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/R21VA9W41cw\" style=\"color:#2248D3\">Video Tutorial<\/a><\/p>\n<hr style=\"height:2px;border-width:0;color:#ababab;\">\n<h1>You\u2019ve found a book in the online catalog, now what?<\/h1>\n<p>1. If the item is \u201cAvailable\u201d and the campus is \u201cHamilton,\u201d write down the Call Number&#8211;you will need this number to locate the book on the shelf.<\/p>\n<p>2. If the item is \u201cAvailable\u201d and it is located at one of the other Miami University Libraries, you can click \u201cRequest Item\u201d to have it delivered to the Hamilton campus.<\/p>\n<p>3.
